Berketa, Rick. Thunder Alley. 2002. 16 Nov. 2002.
http://www.niagarafrontier.com
- I used this site to get information for Niagara Falls. I also found some information I
did not include that I thought was interesting but not relevant, relating to the falls.
City of Toronto Official Website. 1998-2000. 18 Sept. 2002.
http://www.city.toronto.on.ca/visitors/index.htm
- This page was the first one I visited. It helped me to plan my trip, to find websites for the Zoo and ROM,
and it also has information on the history of Toronto.
Nerad, Robert. Personal Interview. 12 Oct. 2002.
- I spoke little with this Robert about anything but cars. He did not say anything useful about
his city but studying him allowed me to take some mental notes on the variations of personalities in
Toronto.
Penner, Wade. Canadian Flag Clip Art Gallery. 2001. 12 Nov. 2002.
http://canflag.ptbcanadian.com/
- This source was used for clip art and some pictures for the website.
Poulton, Robert. Personal Interview. 12 Oct. 2002.
- I spoke with Robert and his friends when we visited Niagara Falls. He was very informative and
obviously very well schooled in the history of Toronto. He also helped me gain a better
understanding of what people are like in Toronto from a cultural standpoint.
Royal Ontario Museum Official Website. About the ROM 2002. 18 Sep. 2002
http://www.rom.on.ca
- The ROM homepage had a lot of great information about when the museum was founded,
who founded it, why it was created, and anything else pertaining to its history. I will
also include some brochures from the museum as part of the information for my paper.
Sapon, Dimitry. Personal Interview. 12 Oct. 2002.
- I also went to Niagara Falls with Dimitry. He talked a little bit about his citys history
and was very informative about how the city was formed and where the lines of the city end. He also was
there to back up what Robert was saying and he became a helpful 2nd source of information.
Stillwater Productions. History of Toronto and County of York. 2002. 2 Oct. 2002.
http://www3.sympatico.ca/stillh2o/history
- This website provides a detailed history of Torontos heritage as well as links to other
websites that are related to the same issue. This page helped me to get an understanding of the
history of Toronto in greater detail than any of the other ones.
Toronto Public Library. T.O Kids. 27 Sept. 2002. 2 Oct 2002.
http://www.tpl.toronto.on.ca/KidsSpace/tokids/facts.htm
- This website had a list that detailed the important occurrences in Torontos history in order,
starting in 1615 with the first European arriving and ending with the present. It gave me the base
with which to start my research.
Toronto Zoo Official Website. Conservation 18 Sept. 2002.
http://www.torontozoo.com
- The zoos homepage has a good listing of the conservation projects they have in
progress. It also informed me little bit about the zoo but I still need to drag up some more
information about what they are doing in and around Toronto.
